GREAT Lakes College Year 12 students celebrated the end of their school lives with their formal.
The event was held on Tuesday, November 20 at One Mile Beach Surf Club.
The 2018 HSC cohort earlier this month put their pens down on their final school exams after 12 years of schooling to prepare them for the final stage and the world awaiting them beyond the school yard.
Now, as they prepare to set off to jobs, travel and further study, the next chapter of their lives begins.
Students enjoyed the opportunity to dress in their finest and gather together to celebrate their momentous achievements.
As this year’s graduating students look to the future and start mapping out their lives and careers, they took one last opportunity to celebrate together as they await their HSC exam results.
There were sparkles, glitter, print, patterns, strapless, strappy, flowing and figure hugging outfits on display as students celebrated.
This year, the HSC exam period stretched from Thursday, October 18 to Friday, November 9.
Students enjoyed the chance to distract themselves in the countdown to finding out their exam results.
Final exam results will be released to students on Thursday, December 13.
