Thursday, November 22 saw a very pleasant morning enjoyed on the green by social bowlers at Forster Bowling Club.
“Our social bowlers were out in force to participate in the final of the President Pairs event,” club member Fay Hannah explained.
The event was taken out by Gina Paine and Debbie Carey, who defeated Sue Davis and Leanne Burgess 20/18.
“It was a very close game and great to watch. Congratulation to all four,” Fay continued.
Rosie Lambert was presented with a certificate from Women’s NSW Bowls for her 30 years as a member.
“Congratulations Rosie from all your friends at the club,” Fay said.
“We once again welcomed our retired bowling ladies who attend every Thursday to have lunch with us and catch up on the gossip.”
The club’s season will officially wrap up with the presentation day on December 8.
