Expect rain across the Great Lakes this weekend with temperatures in the low 20s and relatively high humidity.
Along the coast BOM has predicted a 60 per cent of showers today and a temperature range of 17-22 degrees, Saturday will dawn with a 70 per cent of showers and a temperature range of 17-22 degrees, while on Sunday there is a 70 per cent chance of showers and temperatures from 16-21 degrees.
Further inland, today the temperature will range from 16-23 degrees and clearing showers, on Saturday the night-time temperature will be marginally lower at 15 and reach a top of 23 degrees accompanied by a 60 per cent chance of showers, while on Sunday will have a clearing shower and a range of 14-23 degrees.
Daylight hours continue to grow with the first light dawning just after 5am followed by sunrise half an hour later.
The sun goes down about 7.30pm.
Despite the cloud cover, the UV index along the coast ranges from very high to extreme.
