Jacob, who now lives in Sydney, is excited to share his achievement with his hometown community.
“Growing up in the Great Lakes, I went to school and learned how to cook,” he said.
“It’s where I developed a love for food. I actually worked at the Reef back in 2007 - 2011.”
Jacob’s approach has been to create experiences rather than step by step dishes.
His simple approach to food reminds the reader what a great cookbook should be, and is a key part of his vision of getting young people back into the kitchen.
“So many people today have become intimidated by cooking and opt to pay a lot for takeaway meals,” Jacob continued.
“People feel cooking is time consuming, expensive and messy. All this is lie. This book will ensure you are upskilled to save time, money and mess.”
