Despite their advancing years, former students attending a reunion at the one-time Darawank Public School were lively in their excitement of getting together once again, organiser Andy Payne said.

It has been 60 years since the school farwelled its last students in 1958.
The reunion was organised by the building’s owner Andy, who described the event as “very successful”.
More than 20 students and friends attended the event, including 95-year-old Olive Hoy, who was only too pleased to ring the school bell.
