Police allege in the early hours of Friday, October 19, two men entered holiday units in Beach Street, Forster and attempted to force entry to the manager’s office.
It is alleged the men then went to a hotel in West Street, Forster where a cash box containing a small amount of money was stolen.
Police later located the empty cash box in Head Street, Forster.
Later that evening, a 28-year-old Forster man was charged with break, enter and steal related offences.
He was also charged in relation to a stolen outboard boat motor recovered by officers in August.
Police executed a search warrant at a premises in Forster on Sunday, October 21.
A 34-year-old male occupant was arrested and charged with possessing ammunition without a licence or permit as well as break, enter and steal and prohibited drug related offences.
The 28-year-old man faced Forster Local Court on October 22.
The 34-year-old man was granted conditional bail to appear at Forster Local Court on November 21.
