
Around 400 footballers and 26 of the best community football teams in northern NSW are facing off at Coffs Harbour this week in the inaugural Northern NSW Football (NNSWF) Champion of Champions competition.
The Great Lakes region is being represented by Tuncurry Forster in the 12 and 15 years events and Great Lakes Vikings in the 14 and 16 years events.
Also from Football Mid North Coast will be Macleay Rangers in the 12 years event, Port United in the 13, 15 and 16 years events and Cundletown Jets in the 13 years events.
The first ever tournament, which started on Sunday, October 7 and finishes on Thursday, October 11, focuses on youth competitions conducted by NNSWF’s seven member zones.
The zones’ respective leading teams will compete in the 12 to 16 boys years competitions, representing their zone as they compete for the coveted title of NNSWF’s Champion of Champions.
