Nominations for the Myall Lakes community awards close on October 12.
Member for Myall Lakes, Stephen Bromhead said hundreds of residents volunteer without expecting praise every year.
“I believe it is important that as a community we acknowledge their efforts, after all their contribution is priceless,” Mr Bromhead said.
“I’m looking for those quiet achievers across the Myall Lakes community who contribute to the towns and villages by giving their time to sports clubs, charities, churches, veterans’ groups, surf clubs and the many volunteer organisations.
