A host of Great Lakes based sides were in action on Football Mid North Coast’s junior grand finals weekend at Taree Zone Field.
Hallidays Point secured the under 12s title in emphatic style with a 4-0 win over Pacific Palms.
Tuncurry Forster Gold couldn’t find the same success as their older clubmates in the under 13s final.
The side went down to Cundletown Jets 2-0.
Great Lakes Vikings defeated Hallidays Point 2-1 to win the under 14s championship.
Wingham were too good for Taree in the under 15s final, running out 4-0 winners.
All winners will meet their northern counterparts in the Zone championships this weekend at Tuncurry’s Harry Elliott Oval.
Meanwhile, Pacific Palms and Tuncurry Forster will battle it out in the over 35s southern grand final on Friday.
