
A special event to celebrate the police force’s best and brightest was held recently, with many current and retired officers in attendance.
Manning Great Lakes Police District Inspector, Allan Fidock said the gathering featured a special presentation.
“Retired police day activities were held at Tuncurry Beach Bowling Club last week,” Inspector Fidock said.
“The event was a gathering of retired police officers from the area.
“Some medals for previous serving officers were presented by Commander Cribb.”
Vice president of the Australian Light Horse Association, Rodney O’Regan said the event was a great day and catch up.
“Two police officers received Australian Police Medals,” he added.
“More than 70 people attended Tuncurry beach Bowling Club, the event, organised by Inspector Fiddock and Superintendent, Shane Cribb was a great day.
