From that small beginning, the christian womens' group, Christian Women Communicating International (CWCI), was born.
Now located in over 80 countries in the world, including the Middle East, Asia, Europe and the Indian Sub continent, the vision of CWCI and its associated Know Your Bible (KYB) study materials have been growing women in Christ through sharing the bible for over 60 years.
Taree’s is one of the longest running committees in Australia and is celebrating its 50th year of operation on Saturday September 8 at the 'Rise' Church of Christ, Victoria Street , Taree, commencing at 2pm.
With a delicious afternoon tea, memories from former committee members, and musical items from the renowned acapella group 'The Good News Girls', this is sure to be a memorable afternoon of commemoration and thanks.
As an ecumenical group, Taree CWCI committee invites all ladies to attend and celebrate this significant milestone. There is no cost, but donations towards the work of CWCI may be made at the door.
