The Great Lakes Seaside Heritage Quilters held a special function at their recent annual general meeting to celebrate their 30th anniversary.
The meeting was attended by members both present and past, and featured a display of photos, newspaper clippings and memorabilia to commemorate the milestone.
Members also displayed a combination of their very first quilts, their most recent and their favourite ones.
The broad skill base of the Seaside Heritage Quilters is soon to be on proud display at the biannual October long weekend exhibition.
This year being the 30th anniversary, the group is arranging a display of historical work by the members with a display of both unique quilts and historical photographs.
There will also be a display of members’ items at the local library.
