Hunter Wind Ensemble: Mitch Brown, Hannah Hartup and Riley Brown from Taree, and Shaun Carrol and Kyler Johnston from Great Lakes will be among the performers at the Taree concert on Sunday.
The Hunter Wind Ensemble will return to St John’s Anglican Church in Taree on Sunday July 29 to perform a fundraising concert in support of their upcoming tour of rural and remote communities in central Australia.

Manning Valley Concert Band will join them for a special set of music with an African theme. Tickets are $15. Five local musicians play with the ensemble, Mitch Brown, Hannah Hartup and Riley Brown from Taree, and Shaun Carrol and Kyler Johnston from Great Lakes.
The ensemble will conduct workshops with local schools in Tuncurry on the following Monday. The students will also have the opportunity to audition for the conductors.

- Manning Valley Radio Control Car Club hosts the NSW championships at Taree Showground. Practice day Friday, competition starts 9am Saturday and continues 9am Sunday.

- Chill Out Festival, Gloucester main street from 9am to 3pm.
- Tin Hare Heritage Rail Journeys, departing Gloucester Station at 10.10am; 11.25am; 1pm. Return trip to Bundook. Tickets from Gloucester Visitor Information Centre.
- Tuncurry Markets, 8am to 1pm at John Wright Park, Tuncurry.
- Nabiac Farmers Market, 8am to noon, Nabiac Showground.
- Off the Shelf with Company of Voices, 3pm to 5pm at Forster Library. Tickets $15. Bookings required.
Sunday
- Pacific Palms Markets, 9am to 1pm at the Pacific Palms Community Centre.
- Nabiac Automotive Swap Meet, 7am to 1pm, at Nabiac Motorcycle Museum. Admission $2 for for all persons entering the Swap Buyers.
