The run of sunny weather is expected to continue throughout the Great Lakes this weekend, with just the chance of a shower along the coast later today.

Temperatures along the coast will range from today’s 16 degrees to a top of 17 on both Saturday and Sunday, while the mercury will drop to 5-6 degrees.

Inland communities can expect a top of 16 degrees on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, falling to 3-4 degrees.

Daylight hours are continuing to extend by one minute a day, with the sun rising just before 6.30am and setting just after 5pm.

While spring is still more than two months away, spring-like weather will return for one day on Tuesday, with a predicted sunny top of 21 degrees on Tuesday, July 17 from the coast to the country.
