Northern NSW Football (NNSWF) announced Tanya’s victory after she was nominated by Wallamba Football Club for her ongoing commitment and dedication to football over three years of service.

 NNSWF community football manager, Peter Haynes said finding volunteers as passionate and selfless as Tanya was the goal for all clubs across the country regardless of the sport.

“Her contribution has been key in the continued success of this football club and it is very pleasing to be able to recognise the effort and hard work Tanya has provided Wallamba to ensure everyone involved has the best football experience possible,” he said.

Newcastle Permanent Forster branch manager, Brett Willing congratulated Tanya on her award.

“We are delighted that a local volunteer has received this award and been recognised across Northern NSW for the incredible commitment they make to their club and community football,” Mr Willing said.

Tanya will receive a volunteer jacket and bag courtesy of Newcastle Permanent to assist her in continuing to fulfill her valuable role at the club.
