The ocean provided sensational conditions for competitors competing in round five of the Forster Bodyboarding Club’s monthly event, held at Boomerang Beach last weekend.
Clean 3ft swell and crisp off-shore winds were just what the doctor ordered to keep smiles on the faces of everyone involved.
Brandyn Cruickshank, competing in the groms launched some stylish rollos, and James Cunningham came up with some great wave selections throughout the day, to place second in the opens behind seasoned competitor, John Cruickshank.
Meanwhile, Tieler Gardner helped out the groms in their final and threw out a heap of spectacular flips.

In the groms event, Brandyn Cruickshank took first place, followed by Harry Twomey, Christian Sheehy, Harry Holbrook, Cooper Cloak and Seb Gonzales in sixth.
In the juniour event, first place went to Tieler Gardner, with Nathan Price second, Tristan Sheedy third and Jack Grainer fourth.
Millie Chalker claimed the top spot in the women’s event.
In the masters, Shane Chalker took the top spot, followed by Wade Boeree, Drew Sheedy and Mick Wernicke.
In the dropknee event, first was Adam Cheers, followed closely by James Cunningham, Nathan Price and Hayden Pisani.
Finally, in the open event, first place was claimed by Johnny Cruikshank, with James Cunningham second, Grant Gardner third, Tristan Sheedy fourth and Tieler Gardnerin fifth.
