“The library staff would like to thank the Bulahdelah School community for its generous support of the event,” librarian, Jody Mostyn said.
“It was fantastic to see so many students, parents, grandparents, staff and community members take time out of their day to purchase a book.
“It was a delight to see our students eager to buy books and be excited about reading.
“If we can foster a love of reading in our children and students, we will be giving them skills they can use for life.
“One of our favourite things about book fair is seeing excited faces wanting to tell us about the chapter they have just finished and the adventures they have been on while reading their books.”
All up, the community purchased $4036 worth of books across the event, an amazing result.
From this the school will receive $733.82 for hosting the book fair, and this money will be used to purchase resources for the students.
