The Cape Hawke Hospital pink ladies held a fashion parade on Saturday, May 19 at Forster Bowling Club.
“The event was a great success,” pink lady, Jenny McConnell said.
“We would like to say a titanic thank you to Forster Bowling Club, Noni B Forster and W Lane Forster for supplying the fashion.
“They also gave us some lovely lucky door prizes we wouldn’t have been able to have otherwise.
“We would also like to thank everyone who attended the parade.
“There was lots of chatter, everyone seemed to enjoy it.
“The food was just beautiful, the committee members all brought cakes, sandwiches, all sorts of things and that was lovely.”
The event drew in 121 attendees, a huge success for the group, and all money raised from the event will go towards helping the hospital.
“We also want to acknowledge the wonderful work of Nola Witt, who held a high tea the week before the fashion parade,” Jenny added.
“A lot of work went into it and it was absolutely beautiful."
The pink ladies hold their meetings on the second Monday of each month, at 1.30pm at Forster Bowling Club.
