With final preparations under-way Taree Rescue Squad member John de Gray Birch said the team was excited to once again host the two-day event.
“It’s coming along really well,” he said.
The weekend will kick-off with a vintage vehicle display at Bunnings Warehouse Taree from 10am to noon on Saturday, May 26.
The annual poker run will then begin at 12.30pm.
The run will stop at various locations around the Manning Valley, with more than $500 worth of prizes up for grabs.
Mr de Gray Birch said the run gave Taree Rescue Squad a chance to showcase the area.
“People travel from across the State so the run gives us a chance to show off the Manning Valley, all its attractions and different sites,” he said.
Entry to the run is $10 or free if you have pre-entered a vehicle in the motor show.
Winners and prizes will be announced at a dinner at the Taree Leagues Sports Club.

As always cars, bikes, trucks, hot rods, dragsters and street machines will be on display at Jack Neal Oval on Sunday.
Joining the showcase this year will be the 4x4 category.
The popular pin-up competition will also return.
There will be live music aplenty, namely Cranky Duck and rock-n-roll legend John Curtin (accompanied by the Club Taree Rock-n-Roll Social Dancers).
Emergency vehicles will also be on display. All funds raised across the weekend go directly to Taree Rescue Squad.
“It allows us to purchase new life saving equipment,” he said.
General admission is $3 per person or $6 per family.
The Taree Rescue Squad is always open to new volunteers. Contact the crew on 6551 5550 or find them on Muldoon Street, Taree every Tuesday between 7.30pm and 9.30pm.
