Acting general manager, Steve Embry said Local Government NSW Management Solutions (LGNSWMS) had been retained for the selection process.
LGNSWMS has more than 25 years experience in the selection and recruitment of senior executive staff, and a proven and established method around the recruitment and advertising strategy.
“There are a lot of challenges for the new general manager in aligning and integrating the three former councils, while also continuing to deliver the day-to-day services the community expect,” Member for Myall Lakes, Stephen Bromhead said.
The MidCoast Region has so much to offer and still has so much potential, the NSW Government is committed to ensuring we have vibrant regional centers’ and are backing this vision with record investment through the $1 Billion Regional Growth Fund, Mr Bromhead said.
“On top of this investment I am fighting for a $50 million investment from the NSW Government to partner with Council to deliver a $100 million Roads and Bridges package across the Myall Lakes,” he said.
“I look forward to the process finding the best person to lead this dynamic organisation, LGNSWMS is advertising across the country to find the best leader wherever they currently might be,” Mr Bromhead said.
