Following on from his popular visit earlier this year, Mick Marcon is returning to MidCoast Libraries to talk about his book and maybe help some people find inner peace within their busy, modern lives.
Resident teacher at Newcastle's Losang Dragpa Kadampa Buddhist Centre, Mick will visit Forster library on Monday, April 30 from 10.30-11.30am and Tea Gardens library on Friday, June 8 from 2.30-3.30pm, talking about his book, How to Transform Your Life.
The book is authored by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, a fully accomplished meditation master and internationally renowned teacher of Buddhism who has pioneered the introduction of modern Buddhism into contemporary society.
How to Transform Your Life is a practical guide for daily life that shows how we can develop and maintain inner peace.
"The self-improvement genre is extremely popular at MidCoast Libraries and Mick Marcon's visit to Taree library in February was fully booked,” MidCoast Council library events officer, Danielle Donnelly said.
“With such a positive response, we’ve had requests to bring Mick back and are looking forward to having him visit our southern libraries.
“We encourage everyone who wants to attend to book in early to avoid disappointment".
There's no cost to attend, but bookings are required. Visit www.midcoastlibraries.com.au/events for tickets.
Join Mick Marcon at Forster Library on Monday 30 April or Tea Gardens Library on Friday 8 June.
