Northern NSW Football (NNSWF) community tootball manager, Peter Haynes said match officials have one of the hardest jobs in football.
“Eliza has shown she takes this important role very seriously,” Mr Haynes said.
“Her dedication, passion and commitment contributes significantly to the positive football experience enjoyed by all involved,” he said.

“Through Newcastle Permanent’s community football awards we are able to recognise the important role referees play,” he said.
“A big part of that role is reinforcing a culture of fair play and respect on the field.”
“Our thanks to all the referees across northern NSW for their contributions to the game.
“In particular, congratulations to Eliza, this month’s winner.”
Eliza received a referee spray jacket, cap, water bottle and a referee card to assist her in continuing to fulfill her duties on and off the field.
