Forster Public School recently held their annual cross country event, encouraging students to get out and have a go at running.

The run was held just across the road from the school at the ideal setting of Pebbly Beach.
Kicking off from Bicentennial Park, the race track headed along the foreshore as far as the stairs at the bottom of Frewin's Walk.
At the stairs, the runners then turned left and continued onto Pebbly Beach, continuing on to the finish line.
Students in each age division wore different colours so winners could be easily marked off as they finished the run.
The first four students in each age division will now progress through to Zone cross country trials.
Congratulations to all the students who participated in this event, the day was enjoyed by staff and students alike.
