During the next three days summer temperatures return to the Great Lakes with the mercury hovering in the high 20s to 30 degrees along the coast and low to mid 30s further inland.
Friday and Saturday will be mainly sunny days with temperatures 28-29 degrees, rising to 30 degrees on a sunny Sunday in coastal towns, while rural areas can expect a foggy start to Friday and Saturday burning to a sunny day with temperatures 31 and 37 degrees.
On Sunday the mercury rises to a hot and sunny 39 degrees.
The UV index will continue to be very high along the coast while the relative humidity will range from 68-79 per cent and the fire danger rating is moderate.
