Newcastle Westpac Rescue Helicopter has flown a 19-year-old-woman with a head injury to John Hunter Hospital following a two car accident on the Bucketts Way at Bakers Creek earlier this morning (Wednesday, March 14).

It’s reported a second patient, believed to be a woman, was transported by ambulance to Gloucester Soldiers' Memorial Hospital where the Tamworth helicopters clinical team would assist with treatment.
A third person was taken to Gloucester hospital by ambulance, reportedly with minor injuries.
The father of one of the injured women was at the scene of the accident and indicated that his daughter was okay.
Police and emergency services are working together at the scene.
The road has been closed between Wallanbah Road and Belbora Creek Road since early Wednesday morning. MidCoast Council staff have been assisting with diverting traffic around the area.
Police said was unclear how long the road would remained closed.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter has been called to the two car motor vehicle accident near at Bakers Creek.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area as the road is closed between Bakers Creek Road and Belbora Creek Road.
Emergency services are on the scene and MidCoast Council road staff are assisting with traffic diversion.
