We are lucky enough to be club champions again for the second year in a row within the Manning Junior Cricket Association.
The under 16s team, sponsored by Jacks Moving Service will play in the grand final against Taree at Johnny Martin oval.
The under 16s have had a mixed season but we hope that they can bring home the prize.
In under 14s, we had three sides this year. The Hog’s Breath Cafe side, Forster Plumbing, and Great Lakes Air and Mechanical.
Sadly. the Hog’s Breath Cafe side missed out on the semi finals by three competition points.
The Great Lakes Air and Mechanical side finished on top of the table with 99 points, while the Forster Plumbing team finished second on the table with 93 points.
Third was Wingham on 76, fourth Taree West Heat on 70, Hog’s Breath Cafe on 67 and Taree West Strikers on 63.
The under 14s Great Lakes Air and Mechanical will play Taree west Heat at Lake Street, and Great Lakes Forster Plumbing will play Wingham down at Pacific Palms.
In the under 12s our side, sponsored by Jake McCarthy Tiling, finished third on the table. They will now take on a tough Tinonee side up at Tinonee.
The 12s have had a great season playing in the new formats, and have seen many children achieve scores they might not have in the older format. These achievements also relate back to the children's enjoyment and excitement to play cricket.
The under 10s, sponsored by Lakesway Landscaping, will play their last game as under 10s which will not be seen as competitive, as they do not play semi finals or grand finals.
Thanks to Bernadette Brislane, Marcus Hitchings, Chris Austin for all they have done for the kids this year.
The success of the side and enjoyment from the kids comes from all of the parents and kids but also to these few that have put their hand up to do that little extra when needed.
