But, we seem to be over the moon for everything lunar.
The moon is one of our most admired heavenly bodies and creates awe and excitement every time we gaze up at it.
We are fascinated by its illumination taking centredstage among the stars and other celestial bodies in space.
We’ve named books after the moon, The Moon’s a Balloon; penned songs, Moon River; made an endless number of movies about it, walked on its surface, and used it in many quotes: Aim for the moon. If you miss, you may hit a star and the list goes on.
Judy Butler has shared her fabulous photographs of this week’s full moon with the Great Lakes Advocate.
