Once a term, parents and family members are invited to the assembly to watch their child receiving an award.
Students who receive a medallion are especially valued and praised, so it was a wonderful celebration to see ten students at the assembly receiving their second medallion.
This means they have worked hard to earn their sixth gold card, and their behaviour and attitude at school is exemplary.
Ginger Hill, Dylan Ceccato, Blake Pate, Stevie McDonagh, Lilly Morgan, Crystal Koutts, Jed Palmer, Kye Wilkinson, Jorja Connors, Jamie Clark were recipients of second medallions.
Special award winners included Grace Romer and Thomas Edler, who both received the YMCA Fay Hiley spirit of participation, while Keanu French received the Great Lakes Evening View Club Award for most improved.
Among the family members present at the assembly were four generations of Keanu French's family who were on hand to congratulate Keanu on his most improved award.
The school congratulated all students on their marvelous achievements.
