Attend this month’s Forster-Tuncurry Business Chamber breakfast on November 28 to find out.
Valley Industries CEO Trent Jennison, who is the November guest speaker, will share his wealth of knowledge on building sustainable businesses.
Trent began his working career as a station hand in Tullamore, before spending two years as a wool classer.
But, he had a particular interest in health care which lured him to study for a Bachelor of Health Administration followed by training as a nurse at Royal Newcastle Hospital.
During his nursing career, Trent has worked at Royal Prince Alfred, Auburn and Charles Wentworth Private hospitals and was nursing director for the Baringa Hospital group.
Trent then spent 14 years as CEO at the Mayo Hospital before joining Valley Industries in 2011.
During his time at the helm, the business has grown to operate 13 distinct business units employing 150 staff with disability, 200 able-bodied staff and providing specialist services to a further 90 people with disability.
Trent has won the Business Leader of the year Award twice.
The November breakfast, the last for 2017, will be held at Forster Bowling Club from 7am.
