The Pacific Highway is closed in a northbound direction at Karuah this morning (November 9).
The closure is due to a truck fire.
Motorists are advised to use Tarean Road as an alternative route, and allow extra travel time.
This detour is not suitable for B-doubles.
Emergency services are on site working to extinguish the fire.
This is the third time the Pacific Highway has been closed due to a truck accident in the last few months.
The most recent closure was at the end of October, and was caused by another truck fire.
On July 17, northbound traffic was again delayed after an accident involving a truck and a pedestrian.
The closure started at 7.57am, with the latest notification at 8.31am.
Updates will be provided as information becomes available.
