The Football Mid North Coast issued eight charges on Wednesday, October 11 for incidents which led to the abandonment of the preliminary final between the Macleay Valley Rangers and Wallis Lake on September 16.

Both clubs received sanctions, as well as three spectators, two players and one coach.
They have 72 hours to accept or fight the charges against them.
If they choose to disagree with the charges, they will need to appear before a tribunal hearing this Monday October 16.
Punishments will be handed down after the tribunal hearing.
Football Mid North Coast general manager Bruce Potter told Fairfax Media an investigation was conducted with up to 20 people interviewed by the judiciary.
“It was important for everyone involved to be heard,” Potter said.
“The investigation lead to the head of judiciary deciding six people and two clubs had a case to answer.”
