Tuncurry Forster Football Club’s Sporties under 16 team finished the season on a high as zone champions. Following a consistent performance in the southern competition the team finished the regular season in second position.

The team played with skillful determination throughout the final series and eventually went on to win the grand final defeating Wingham 6-1 in a clinical display of brilliant football.
From there the team was invited to contest the champion of champions against the northern division winners, Camden Haven.
In another dominant display of football the Tigers once again lifted the silverware. Skillful teamwork resulted in an overwhelming eight nil victory with some outstanding goals being scored by the team and saved by the Tigers’ keeper.
Overall an outstanding season for the champion team and a true testament of junior player development within the Tuncurry Forster Football Club.
