The school, which has only 35 students, fielded two teams who have knocked out sizeable competitors including Forster, Tea Gardens, Old Bar, and Bulahdelah Central School on their way to the semi finals.
Next up the teams will face Wingham Brush Public School and Tuncurry Public School as they progress towards the finals.
It may be their first year competing, but this little school is not one to shy away from a challenge, and they aren’t about to be outshone.
The school’s decision to engage a debating coach has clearly been a success with both students and staff greatly improving their expertise.
