Students from Forster Public School are participating in NAPLAN readiness testing and training through the newly developed online format.
This online approach features tailored testing which gives students questions that are more suitable to their ability, resulting in better assessment and more precise results.
The move online allows students to access the different ways of answering questions using computers.
NAPLAN Online is designed to provide better assessment with more precise results and faster turnaround of information.
The students from Forster Public School are excited to be involved in this process.
The currently paper based test will move to computer-based assessment to commence in its new form from 2018.
NAPLAN provides governments, education authorities and schools with a measurement to ensure that young Australians are meeting important educational outcomes.
