Forster Tuncurry Quota has hosted this outstanding event for many years.
The popular event has enabled the club to raise much needed money, which is donated to to local charities, including disadvantaged women and children and the hearing impaired.
The raffle money is to be donated for research into prostate cancer.
Disappointingly, with the country’s growth in size, this will be the last parade as the Cavalcade cannot find models small enough for the clothes of yesterday.
This year’s parade is called A New Look A New Generation, featuring the fashions from 1945-1975.
A walk down memory lane for many!
The clothes featured have been donated by people who lived in the era, and all have a special story.
Members of the community are invited to experience a nostalgic and memorable afternoon.
Tickets are $25 and are available from Rosita's Florist, Wharf Street, Forster and Jan Irvine 6555 7219. The cost includes afternoon tea.
