Flood warning levels issued for the Gloucester River by the Bureau of Meteorology on Sunday (March 19) were not reached.
The Gloucester River, near the showground, was predicted to reach a minor level of 4.3 metres, with a possible major level of 5.20m, however the river peaked at 3.93m at 8:45am on Sunday morning.
Gloucester State Emergency Service (SES) said there were no major incidents over the weekend.
There have been a few road closures due to minor flooding, with the Jacks Road Bridge over the Avon River, still closed but expected to open later today.
The Avon River peaked at 5.77m at 8:36am Sunday morning and held steady around that level, before starting to slowly fall around 7:00pm last night.
The SES have advised the water catchments in the Gloucester region are full and further heavy rain could cause possible flooding and road closures.
