During the past handful of weeks members have been showing Forster Girl Guides how to knit.
The members attended over three Mondays to allow the girls to have an opportunity to understand, try and achieve.
The girls who participated were well on the way to knitting their own scarves at the end of the lessons.
It was a very enjoyable experience for all involved.
The Forster branch of CWA is turning 70 this year and there will be an exhibition held at the Manning Great Lakes Museum in Tuncurry during May to celebrate this achievement.
The organising committee would like to hear from anyone who may have been a member themselves, or who had a relative who was a member of the branch who may have any items of interest including photographs that could be loaned for the duration of the exhibition.
