On Monday, January 14, the girl was approached at her workplace by a man claiming to be a personal trainer and masseuse.
She accepted a massage from the man, during which it is alleged she was indecently assaulted.
Forster Police conducted an investigation into the incident and arrested a 60-year-old man at his home on Thursday.
He was taken to Forster Police Station and charged with four counts of assault with act of indecency.
Whilst in custody, it was determined the man had provided police with a false identity.
Further investigations revealed the man was wanted by way of outstanding arrest warrants in Western Australia for sexual related offences dating back to 1997.
Western Australian Police were contacted and confirmed that they would be seeking the man’s extradition back to Western Australia following the completion of the matter he is now facing in New South Wales.
He was refused bail to appear at Taree Local Court.
