The free, five kilometre weekly event is held every Saturday morning at the Bicentennial Walk in the Pebbly Beach parkland off Head Street.

parkrun came to Australia back in April 2011 with a course on the Gold Coast at Main Beach with the blessing of founder, Paul Sinton-Hewitt.
