The large flyer had large print at the top stating “Attention Tallwoods Village Residents” and mentioned the proposed Gateway Lifestyle Development and also the perceived problems of 200 plus manufactured homes.  

It then goes on to say if the proposal is granted the development will become “A Ghetto” which will affect property values and lifestyle etc. The remainder of the flyer was surprising.

It was an officially worded council document in smaller print with similar information as at the start of the flyer it then concluded “Yours sincerely” with the name of a prominent council employee, which gave a false impression that the first damning part of the flyer re “The Ghetto” and other information, had council input.

No prominent council person would be part of this damning flyer.  

One other flyer without signatures and equally damning with misinformation and another flyer titled “Maintain the Rage”.  

Shouldn’t ratepayers “Maintain the Rage” they have to pay the legal costs in the court.
