The proverbial red carpet was rolled out for Great Lakes senior college campus students who celebrated their end of secondary school education with the traditional graduation and formal on November 14.

The event, which included an evening meal and later entertainment from talented musician students, was organised by a group of Year 12 students.
Joining the 210 graduating students was principal, Bob Henry and staff.
The graduation formal has been a much anticipated and well attended tradition since the college opened its doors 15 years ago.
While in previous years students have enjoyed a less formal evening with finger food at Cape Hawke Surf Club, they opted for a more sentimental sit-down meal at Club Forster this year.
Mr Henry acknowledge the year of 2017 graduating students, and said the night was held in the highest tradition.
