The Wallamba Bulls Woman’s 7s team has been busy preparing for the 2018 season with pre-season training in full swing at Nabiac under the guidance of Bulls head coach Lee Sullivan.

To date the Bulls have managed to enrol around 20 players, ranging in age from 16 to somewhere north of 40.
With plans well advanced for the inaugural Lower Mid North Coast Woman’s 7 Competition to kick off in 2018 Sullivan is taking the team on the road to train with other teams planning to field Woman’s Rugby sides in the 2018 competition.
Sullivan is keen to get as much support and interaction amongst the teams in the pre-season to encourage woman to give Rugby a go in 2018.
The Bulls will descend upon the Dolphins home ground in Tuncurry next Thursday, October 26 at 6pm where players from anywhere on the Lower Mid North Coast are welcome to come along and try out the exciting woman’s 7 format.
Forster -Tuncurry Dolphin’s president, Damian Daczko is delighted to welcome the Bulls Woman’s team to the Dolphin’s ground and is “looking forward to collaborating with teams in the competition to ensure the woman’s competition is a success.
“Whether you want to play, just have a go and see if rugby is for you or just check out what all the fuss is about, we encourage everyone to come down and have a go, it is great fun, with a great bunch of players,” Daczko said.
The following week, the Bulls will return to the Nabiac Cricket Ground on their normal scheduled training day of Tuesday, October 26 where NSW rugby union coach, Tom Davidson will run a 90 minute skills and drills training session to further improve the competition on the Lower Mid North Coast.
Players from any team in the region are welcome to attend this free training session.
With all clubs in the Lower Mid North Coast competition looking to field a woman’s 7s team in the 2018 competition there has never been a better time to get involved in rugby union on the Lower Mid North Coast.
