What child – or adult – can resist the laughing clowns, fairy floss, lucky dips and home-made goodies?
Next Friday, October 20 Pacific Palms Public School will hold its first fete in two years from 3-7pm.
Organisers have set their sights on raising at least $8000 to put towards a range of projects including a new playground, computers and technology, to name a few.
There will be much to do, the event’s main co-ordinator, Mylee Cheers promised.
“One of the main attractions are the rides – jumping castle, inflatable slide and the tea cup ride,” Mylee said.
Joining the rides will be laughing clowns, fairy floss, snow cones, a photo booth, face painting, tattoos, cake stall, coin toss, lucky dips, raffles and candles, pet rocks and sock puppets to purchase.
Also on the main attraction list is the popular chocolate wheel which is offering about $1900 in vouchers and prizes.
“We rely heavily upon business sponsorships to assist with funding our fete and we thank them for their support.”
Pacific Palms Public School is located in Boomerang Drive, Boomerang Beach.
