The Forster -Tuncurry Business Chamber is holding a breakfast on Tuesday, October 24, at the Lakes and Ocean Hotel.

The event offers a unique opportunity to hear a panel of experts discuss the ins and outs of time away from work.

The following talking points will be key to the discussion:

  • How you can help a team member return to work quickly and smoothly?
  • When one of your team has been away from work, it can be challenging to navigate their return.
  • Maybe they’ve been on maternity leave or they’ve needed time off for personal reasons, an injury or illness, or due to stress in the workplace.
  • On their return, a change in duties may be required, people may be uncertain of what to say and do - there may even be some unresolved conflict within a team.

Guest speakers include occupational therapist Michelle Dixon from Mayo Injury Management Services,  psychologist Miles Johe from Clinical Psychology Solutions, and nationally acredited mediator Megan Lewis from The Resolution Network.

The panel's goal is to answer the questions that will directly help you in your workplace so you can save time and money and do the best by your team and your business.

If there are any questions you would like to supply to the panel before the meeting – please send them to Megan Lewis at mlewis@resolutionnetwork.com.au by Tuesday, October 17.

Tickets are $20 for members and $25 for non members, and the event starts at 7am.
