Competitors chose from the children’s four kilometre or two kilometre fun run, five kilometre run, 10 kilometre run and a half marathon.
Some eager participants took on the ultimate challenge known as the ‘Treble Bridge Buster’. This involved the half marathon, 10 kilometre run and the five kilometre fun run.
Race director Kevin Chilvers said this event was in high demand, with about 70 competitors taking up the challenge.
An unofficial ‘mini-buster’ also took place, where some competitors attempted the 10 kilometre and five kilometre events.
Presentation were held about noon from the Forster Main Beach area.
Kevin wanted to remind all competitors about the importance of having fun on the day.
“If you can’t run without a smile on your face, you’re running too fast,” he said.
