MidCoast Council is one of 46 councils across NSW going to the polls to decide who will best represent them for the next three years. We're a community of more than 90,000, spread over 10,000km2. Council operates a $320 million/annual business that looks after 3200km of roads, 542 bridges and 3000 hectares of open space. Council will be made up of 11 councillors, including the mayor and deputy mayor who are elected to the positions by the elected councillors. The full list of MidCoast Council candidates can be found on the Vote NSW websites or Great Lakes Advocate website. The election gives you the chance to vote for the councillors who will best represent our region, so make your vote count.
