MidCoast Library's events officer Danielle Donnelly says: “We're very pleased to be able to support our local authors and provide a platform for the community to learn more about their work.”
Terry says that this support has been invaluable, "along with the extraordinary amount of help I've been given with research from the staff at Wingham and Taree libraries".
Deliver Me From Evil is a fictionalised account of the story of Thomas Wentworth, who rose to be King Charles I's most influential minister, and Earl of Strafford, during the 17th century.
This period of British history was turbulent with King Charles a controversial character who managed to alienate his parliament and many of his subjects, prompting a civil war and his ultimate execution, convicted of treason.
If you're interested in the history of this period, or you're keen to learn about the process of writing, then this free talk will be invaluable to you.
It's a great chance to meet the author and ask your questions directly.
The talk begins at 11am on Monday. August 14 at Forster library.
