The disruption was scattered intermittently throughout the Great Lakes from Coomba Park to Hallidays Point.
“We apologise to our customers who may have experienced disruptions to their ADSL service, caused by an act of vandalism,” a spokesperson from Telstra said.
“Services have now been restored and we thank our customers for their patience.”
The 12-hour outage was restored at approximately 1am this morning, July 27.
The Telstra spokesperson did not elaborate on where the vandalism occurred and how many customers were affected.
