This subject really appealed to judge Barbara Jackson, who enjoys photographing her local show and farmers’ market.
Barbara has been involved in photography for about 15 years and is the president of the Lismore Camera Club.
Over the years she has advanced from simple point and shoot to a DSLR Pentax K5 and uses Photoshop and Lightroom in post production.
Barbara is also an accredited FCC judge.
She enjoys photographing family groups, low key weddings and has been a second shooter for her daughter at Babyswine Photography.
This month’s judge for altered reality was Peter Hammer who has entered numerous national and international competitions gaining numerous acceptances and winning more than 100 awards including gold medals.
Peter worked for many years as an electronic software engineer, retiring in 2010 and is now a full time photographer.
He has released many books displaying his amazing photography. Peter enjoys street photography, landscapes and portraits. He also enjoys travel which has given him the opportunity to take photos in Morocco, China, UK, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Nepal, New Zealand, Patagonia, India, Iceland, Europe, Vietnam and Canada.
