Forster’s B and S Racing, Krambach’s Black Dog, Nabiac’s Just Crawlin’, Taree’s D21 Navara and Glenthorne’s SKIDMARK pushed themselves and their vehicles to the limit, driving over a terrain consisting of boulders, rocks, med, giant tyres, deep holes and ruts.
B and S Racing took home bragging rights in the group after they finished 29th.
Team navigator Shane Perrim said he was pleased with the result.
"All the courses are challenging.
"If we can go up a few notches every year that will be good,” Mr Perrim said.
Mr Perrim added a friendly rivalry exists between the group.
“We always try to beat each other,” Mr Perrim said.
Each team consists of two people, a driver and navigator.
The three day event runs twelve stages including one static, ten driving sections and Verification.
These go towards each team’s final tally.
The event attracted up to 8000 spectators and is considered one of the largest of its kind in Australia.
Next year’s event will take place between April 13 and 15.
